Keeping up with Project365/6!

I'm kind of proud of myself for keeping at this! It's much easier than I anticipated - much thanks to my iPhone! I downloaded an app that reminds me to take my daily pic, and only pics from my phone are used for these pages!

 

 

 

 

 

Working on several books

I'm trying my best to get a number of books done right now. Some of them have been in the works for years now... The book on my sister's friend's wedding is nearing completion, but I can't show anything until it's done, printed and delivered to the couple!

My book on our trip to Kenya and Zanzibar in 2007 is finally going well! I'm halfway done and really enjoying working with all those photos!

Our trip to Barcelona and the Med Cruise last fall is also coming along nicely. Might be done any day (or week) now!

Both these books are mostly made with products from DesignerDigitals.com. Almost every page is made with templates by Lynn Grieveson and a couple by Katie Pertiet. All papers, alphas and most of the embellishments are also by various designers at DesignerDigitals. All styles are by Thao Cosgrove or Amanda Fraijo-Tobin at ScrapGirls. Some embellishments, doodles and brushes by either Anna Aspnes (Oscraps) or Kate Hadfield (The LilyPad).

I'm doing Project 365(+1) this year!

Well, I've tried before... But flunked out miserably quickly... With the iPhone, I have an app that reminds me to take a daily photo and I always have a camera with me - no excuses!!! I know that 2012 is not very old yet! But I have managed to keep up this far! All 28 days! I've even made weekly pages of my photos! I wasn't planning to, but the ladies over at DesignerDigitals.com are such enablers... I simply couldn't resist when I saw all their lovely weekly layouts! I've decided to keep it fairly simple. Otherwise I will start looking at this as a chore and not something fun. I'm using templates by Pattie Knox and papers by Katie Pertiet, both at DesignerDigitals. Here are my first 3 weeks:

Scrapping 2010!

I've been digiscrapping for a little bit more than 4 years now, and I don't seem to be loosing interest at all! On the contrary, it's making me more interested in Photoshop, Lightroom and photography by the minute!

I always have a bunch of projects in the making, and work on what gets my mojo flowing at the moment. Right now, a book on the entire year of 2010 is what works best for me. Here are a couple of double spreads for that book!

 
My friend Karen came over from Scotland a couple of days in January 2010. It was freezing cold, but Gothenburg showed itself from one of it's best sides anyway!

 
Karen and I decided to spoil ourselves one evening and had dinner at Fond. Excellent service and fantastic food! We ended with a couple of drinks at Lipp before going home.

 
On her last day here, Karen and I went downtown to the foodmarket and picked up whatever we found interesting! Then we had a Tapas-style dinner that evening and played my new Wii... Can you tell we're snowboarding?

Shutterfly e-mail!

Woke up and found an e-mail in my inbox from the Shutterfly Gallery - my latest book is featured in their Digital Scrapbooking section! ;-)

Cruise-book has arrived from Shutterfly!

I worked like crazy earlier this fall to get the book on the second part of our holiday early 2009 done! It recently arrived from Shutterfly and now I don't have to worry about a Xmas-gift for my in-laws! I'm very happy with the result, and it's the perfect companion-book to the one on the first part of our trip!

Scrapping like crazy!

My husband probably thinks me and my laptop have merged into one big blob on our couch in front of the TV... I'm scrapping like crazy these days! Trying to be productive and do at least 2 pages every night while watching TV. Right now I want to be done with my book on Scotland and have it uploaded and ordered from Shutterfly!!! But that is wishful thinking since I'm only halfway through...

I'm also working on Shutterfly-books on our trip to Kenya & Zanzibar in 2007, the ScrapGirls' Convention in 2008, our Florida-trip in 2009, our Caribbean Cruise just after, my trip to Gotland w/ mom and sis in the summer of 2009, the fabulous roadtrip with my "American parents" in October 2009 and one on my sister's friend's wedding... On top of this I'm also working on annual books for 2006, 2007 and 2008.

I have a book on my friend's 25th business-jubilee, a book on the ScrapGirls' Convention 2009, a book on my husband's and stepson's US-trip last Xmas and the annual book on 2009 in various planning-stages...

I guess I'll be merged with my laptop for a loooooong time to come!
